Move to Bloom: Into the Woods

Join us this autumn for six weeks of story, movement, play and exploration as we journey Into the Woods!

Wednesdays 1pm-2pm at Curdridge Reading Room. 16th September - 21st October.

This class is suitable for children who are aged 2 years up to 6 years. Younger and older siblings are also welcome at no extra cost. The ticket is for your child and up to 2 adults but please let me know if you are bringing another adult as this helps me with planning.

Throughout the half-term, our little explorers will be joined by Fern the Fox , our special woodland friend who will guide us through a different adventure each week.

Along the way, we’ll meet woodland animals, discover where they live, explore how they prepare for the changing seasons and notice what happens in the natural world as autumn arrives.

Each session includes:

Story Adventure – a guided imaginative adventure filled with movement, discovery and little problems to solve.

Bloom Time – thoughtfully created, woodland inspired play invitations for children to explore freely and at their own pace.

Bloom & Refresh – time for grown ups to enjoy a tea or coffee, chat and connect while their little ones play.

Bloom Movement – a short, calming movement sequence to bring our bodies back together before we finish.

Move to Bloom is designed to be calm, welcoming and low pressure. There is no expectation for children to sit still or join in with every part of the session. They are welcome to watch, wander, explore and come back when they’re ready.

Our six woodland adventures:

Week 1 – Welcome to the Woodland
Week 2 – Squirrel’s Missing Acorns
Week 3 – Hedgehog’s Cosy Home
Week 4 – Owl’s Night-Time Adventure
Week 5 – Help Fern Find Her Way Home
Week 6 – The Woodland Celebration

One woodland. Six stories. A new adventure every week.

Terms and Conditions

By booking a Move to Bloom class, you agree to the following:

Bookings & payment
Your child’s place is confirmed once booking and payment have been completed. Places are subject to availability.

Cancellations & missed sessions
Bookings for the half term block are for all six sessions. Unfortunately, refunds or credits cannot normally be offered for individual sessions missed due to illness, holidays or other personal circumstances. If you wish to cancel your place on the course, 7 days notice before the start of the course is required in order to receive a full refund. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, so in exceptional circumstances, a refund or credit may be considered at my discretion.

If Move to Bloom has to cancel a session, families will be offered a replacement session where possible or an appropriate refund or credit.

Liability and Safety

By attending the class, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own and your child’s safety during the sessions. Parents/carers remain responsible for their child at all times during Move to Bloom sessions. Please supervise your child appropriately, particularly when using play and movement resources.

Activities and resources are selected with the intended age range in mind; however, children develop at different rates and parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether an activity or resource is appropriate for their child and for supervising their use of it.

Please follow any safety guidance given by the class leader during the session.

Please ensure that you make me aware of any allergies, for yourself, your child and any other adults attending.

Photography
You are very welcome to take photographs of your own child during the session, but please ensure that other children are not identifiable in your photographs or videos without their parent/carer’s permission.

Move to Bloom may occasionally take photographs or videos during sessions for marketing purposes. Any images will be taken in a way that does not show children's faces or make them identifiable. Permission will always be sought first and children will not be photographed or filmed for this purpose without the appropriate consent.

Changes to sessions
Occasionally, activities, resources or elements of an advertised session may need to be changed. Any changes will be made with the overall Move to Bloom experience and children’s safety in mind.
