JANUARY 2026 UPDATE

If you bought a 'split payment' ticket - you'll need to pay the balance by 14 February, so please click Buy Tickets and purchase 'Split Payment 2'.

If you don't yet have a ticket, you can now buy a Day ticket (if you don't require accommodation).  There are also a handful of hostel accommodation tickets still available - please buy ASAP!

We also need a few more marshalls, so if you don't fancy quite a much exercise, this is the ticket for you!

What is Hike & Bike?

An epic weekend of Hiking, Biking and merry-making in the glorious Yorkshire Dales - where teams compete to score the most points across a series of challenges and check-points!

• Friday night - arrive in Hawes YHA (Yorkshire Dales) and then hit the local pubs and bars.
• Saturday - Hike Day! Earn points for completing challenges & being quickest. Followed by a night out.
• Sunday - Bike Morning! Earn points by reaching different waypoints.  Trophy ceremony and goodbyes.

Breakfast, lunch & dinner provided on Saturday.  Plus breakfast on Sunday.

When is it?

• Friday 5 June 2026 (arrive in the evening) - Sunday 7 June 2026 (leave at lunchtime)

How much is it?

It's the best value weekend in Round Table!

• £150 for competitors (includes YHA accommodation and food)
• £70 for marshals (camping and food)

Competitors can split their payments!

• Pay just £75 now - and pay the remaining £75 by 14 February 2026.  Bargain!

FAQs

• How many are in each team?  Teams comprise 3-4 competitors.  But don't worry if there's only 1-2 of you, we'll join you to form another team.
• Do you need any help with the marshalling? Yes - if you fancy the weekend without too much hiking or biking, please buy a Marshals Ticket!
• Do I actually need to do the bike ride?  Your team will need 3-4 competitors for both days (for safety reasons), so most of you will need to do both days.
• Do I bring my own mountain bike?  Ideally yes.  There are local places in Hawes where you may be able to hire a mountain bike if needed.
• How do the split payments work?  Competitors can buy a 'split payment' ticket for £75.  You will then be prompted in the new year to come back here to purchase your 'balancing payment' ticket (£75).  The second payment must be purchased by Valentine's Day (14 February 2026) otherwise you will forfeit your place and will lose your original payment.
• Can I bring my own campervan?  There is limited parking space available at the YHA, so we couldn't accommodate you there - although you would be welcome book your campervan into one of the sites in Hawes if you so wished.

We collect information from you that you provide to us (e.g. when purchasing a ticket). We use this information to plan and manage our event and to keep you informed about that event. Where you agree, we may also use this information to contact you about future events or other matters that we think might interest you (e.g. future Hike & Bike events). Don't worry - we won't spam you or sell your contact details.  If you change your mind, you can unsubscribe from this at any time.

We take photographs and video at our events for use in publicity and for marketing purposes. By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to photographs and video being taken and used for these purposes and waive any rights (including any moral rights) you may have in those photographs and/or video.

On request, you must produce a valid form of identification to prove your age: a photo driving licence, a passport or a proof of age card (such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme). We reserve the right to refuse admission. As sometimes our plans change, we reserve the right to change the event details without notice.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that we cancel or postpone the event, we will offer you the same number of tickets to an alternative event or provide a ticket refund (at your option). This will be the full extent of our liability to you in respect of any cancellation or postponement.
