We’re delighted to announce that the UK Dementia & Palliative Care Conference will return on Wednesday 24 March 2027, building on the success of the last three years.

Join us for an enriching day as we hear from leading experts in the field, explore the latest advancements in dementia and palliative care, and take part in hands-on learning opportunities designed to inform and inspire.

We’re delighted to welcome internationally renowned dementia advocate, healthcare innovator and bestselling author Teun Toebes as our international headline speaker. Teun will deliver his keynote, Changing the Narrative: Zero Risks, Zero Life, exploring how we can challenge existing perceptions and approaches to dementia care.

Across the day, we will explore a range of subjects including post-diagnostic support, rights and funding, clinical approaches to dementia, recognising the dying phase, delirium, loneliness and the importance of relationships and connection.

The programme will also include interactive workshops, giving delegates the opportunity to explore practical approaches, share experiences and consider how new ideas can be applied in their own work and practice.

Our expert speaker line-up includes Dr Laura Hill, Professor Emma Wolverston, Professor Claudia Cooper, Sara Wilcox, Dr Rupert Noad, Helen Lock, Dr Sam Carr and Mandy Cheyne, alongside Teun Toebes.

There will be plenty of opportunities to connect and network with colleagues and fellow professionals throughout the day, including over lunch and refreshments.

The conference will conclude with a panel discussion exploring future directions in dementia and palliative care, bringing together speakers from across the programme to consider what needs to change and where we go next.
