Description
Come and meet the Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB) team!
Employability Day is the UK’s largest celebration for organisations supporting local people to gain, sustain and progress in work.
This year, Royal Borough of Greenwich’s employment and skills support service, GLLaB is throwing open its doors for an informal event for local people to find out how they can receive support to find a rewarding job and develop their employability skills.
There are two sessions that people can attend, starting at 10.00am and 11.30am.
There will be a brief presentation of support for each offer, followed by market stalls where you can chat to GLLaB and other teams involved in employment support at the Council. Find out about:
- Support available via GLLaB’s programmes
- Adult and community learning - find out about the Greenwich Learns skills offer
- Live vacancies you can apply for now
- Apprenticeships in the Council and at local organisations, including construction pre-apprenticeship training
The event forms part of a national campaign coordinated by the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA), bringing hundreds of businesses, charities and other bodies in the sector together to celebrate and raise awareness of the successes and positive impact of employability support.
