Experience a drawing class like no other. These two-hour evening drawing sessions, broadcast live from our Shoreditch studios, are an opportunity for students to experience the dynamic and dramatic possibilities of the studio, from home. Join students online from across the globe to draw from epic sets, dancers, musicians and more, with something new each week. Using a range of drawing practices, our expert tutors will guide you through a series of exercises over the course of each session. You can book these sessions individually, or you can buy a Class Pass giving you access to all 5 sessions with 10% off.

How do you turn a drawing into a portrait? In this two-hour session, tutors Clara Drummond and Rachel Mercer will introduce new ways to approach a drawing of the head. We will be challenging how the portrait might be traditionally composed in a bid to better describe the sitter. Our cameras will allow us to get closer than ever to the model.

These sessions are designed so that students can engage with whatever materials they have to hand: pencil, biro, crayons. Below is a suggested material list that will allow you to get the most out of the classes.

Buying an 'All Sessions Pass'

These can be purchased from the RDS Store on the main page. Once you have purchased the All Sessions Pass you will receive a unique membership code. Simply go back into each session, click on the buy ticket button and add in the membership code when prompted. Please do this for each session to sign up to the whole series.
