Artist Catherine Goodman CBE LVO founded the Royal Drawing School in 2000 with H.M. King Charles III in response to the increasing absence of drawing practice in arts education. Her own practice embeds a unique visual language that communicates a powerful response to her lived experience rooted in the act of drawing from life. Catherine will be in conversation with artist Sir Christopher Le Brun PRA, President of the Royal Academy of Arts 2011-2019, who was also instrumental in the founding of the Drawing School. They will be joined by neuroscientist Ash Ranpura to discuss the importance of drawing to the body, brain and soul, and as an essential and healing tool for the digital age.

Visitors can join artist Lilith Piper and help create a cumulative and collaborative work, or pick up self-directed activities designed by artists to draw and observe each day.
