Discussing the role of arts and humanities in the implementation of the joint Irish-Scottish bilateral review.

Join the Irish Humanities Alliance (IHA) and the Scottish Humanities Alliance (SAHA) at the Royal Irish Academy for a half day event - Irish-Scottish cultural diplomacy and relations.

As human-centred fields of research, the Arts and Humanities are fundamental to fostering creativity, firing the imagination, navigating a shared history, and promoting inter-cultural dialogue. Booking a ticket

At the Royal Irish Academy, we are proud to facilitate access to experts through a broad programme of events and activities co-ordinated throughout the year. We encourage members of the public to attend events, the majority of which are free of charge.

We kindly request attendees not to book in-person tickets if they are not planning to attend in-person. This helps us more accurately anticipate numbers, pass on in-person tickets to those waiting and more accurately cater to reduce unnecessary waste thus contributing to our sustainability efforts.

This event will be livestreamed, if you are unable to attend in-person but would like to receive a link to access the livestream, please select that option only.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and if you've booked an in-person ticket and cannot attend, we’re happy to assist you in cancelling your ticket. Simply Manage your ticket here or contact communications@ria.ie and we’ll make the necessary adjustments.

Your support allows the Royal Irish Academy to continue providing important events as part of our outreach and engagement programmes.
