Royal Windsor Flower Show Launch Party

Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

The evening will open with Alex Denman, RWFS Show Director, who will unveil how this year’s theme, Rooted in Nature, is shaping and inspiring the 2026 show.

Alex will be followed by Hannah Brewer of Little Muddy Boots, who will speak about an exciting new Nature Studies course bringing nature and horticulture into local schools, delivered by LMB on behalf of the Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society.

We are then delighted to welcome Simon Lycett, one of the UK’s leading florists, in conversation with RWRHS Chairman Andrew Try

Inspired by the Warwick Horticultural Flower Show at the tender age of 7, Simon Lycett won his first floral art competition at 16 and went on to do an apprenticeship in a London flower shop. In 1993 Simon was approached by the producers of the smash-hit film 'Four Weddings and A Funeral' to dress the sets of each respective wedding and funeral in beautiful floral arrangements unique to each character. Since its release, his work has been in high demand for events large and small the world over. Simon’s bold and artful creations always seek to complement the venue and vision of the client, resulting in abundant immersive floral worlds.

Simon will also demonstrate his floral artistry live during the discussion.

🌸 Simon’s finished creation will be raffled at the end of the evening.

Throughout the event, The Royal Nurseries will be on hand with inspiration for your garden, alongside Kate Guy, showcasing her new design for the show as well as her beautiful merchandise.

This is initially a members-only event.
🎟️ Tickets are free for members – please register using the code provided in the Newsletter.

The York Club bar will be open as usual, serving light refreshments.
