🧰 what tools and materials you'll need
❓ who to ask if you need more help
🏡 other ways to make your home more cosy!
This workshop is free thanks to funding from Museum Development South East and Art Council England.

Tony Cowling graduated from Reading University in the late seventies with a PhD in chemistry and has always been interested in sustainability and reducing energy consumption. During his working life, Tony ran a small building company and since retiring early he has designed and built a new home with many sustainable features. Despite having no formal heating system or heating bills, the house remains at a comfortable temperature throughout the year.
Tony now has a small sustainability consultancy but spends much of his time assisting several local charities and doing voluntary work. He leads the Reading DraughtBusters project which helps people living in energy poverty to draught proof their homes in order to help them keep warmer and to make savings on house-hold bills.
