Music at the Museum
Hosted by the Friends of Royston Museum, join us on Friday 5 June for another night of Music at the Museum.
There'll be music from the brilliant Smith & Brewer plus by purchasing a ticket to this fundraising event, you will be helping the Friends of Royston Museum in their mission to support the ongoing work of the Museum, from collections care to events and exhibitions.
Ben Smith and Jimmy Brewer met at an event organised by Joan Armatrading for the acts she had chosen to support her on her 2015 tour. Although they originally planned to just write together, they soon realised that their different guitar playing styles and voices complemented each other and they started performing together regularly. Since then, they have played together all over the UK, and have played hundreds of shows together.
Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30pm start. Tickets are £15 per person and includes wine or a soft drink.

The Friends of Royston Museum was formed in 1984 and has continued to support Royston Museum ever since. The Friends encourage others to come and enjoy the collection, exhibitions and activities, act as volunteers, contribute towards conservation costs and purchase of equipment, and support the ongoing work of the museum in any way they can.
In 2025 and 2026, the Friends' support enabled the Museum to move to a new collections management system, eHive, purchased a new gazebo to support the Museum's outreach work, purchased a new permanent projector set up for our monthly talks, contributed to our air source heat pump project and provided the additional hours required to undertake our 2026 redevelopment of the Museum.
