Join us for the second ever Festival of the Oppressed on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2026!
Lenin said revolutions are 'festivals of the oppressed and exploited', and to transform this unequal, undemocratic world, in the face of climate catastrophe, we need nothing short of a revolution. We want to reignite popular agency, build new solidarities, and imagine alternative futures.
But we need to work out how we get there. The festival will feature discussions on collective strategy, analysis, and solidarity to map out how racialised, gendered, and colonial divisions are woven through the working class to oppress us – and how we organise to overthrow them.
Over the weekend we'll cover topics ranging from anti-imperialism and workplace organising through to revolutionary strategy and bodily autonomy.
Featuring Richard Seymour, Lola Olufemi, Sophie Lewis, Ira Hybris, Adam Elliot Cooper, Joy James, Beatrice Adler-Bolton, Shanice McBean, Jonas Marvin and more!
