The Big Leicester Paw Festival - Brought to you by RSPCA Woodside

RSPCA Woodside are excited to be hosting the Big Leicester Paw Festival in partnership with Everards — a brand‑new celebration of dogs, community and local animal welfare. This charity event will help raise vital funds for the animals in our care, and we can’t wait to welcome you to a day dedicated to fun, learning and supporting a great cause.

The festival is free to enter, and everyone is invited to enjoy a full day of entertainment. Expect dog agility, fun dog shows, breed meet‑ups, educational sessions, stalls, kids’ activities and so much more. Whether you’re a lifelong dog lover, a family looking for a brilliant day out, or a supporter of local animal welfare, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This year, visitors can also pre‑book their place in our exciting Breed Meets and Dog Show Categories. Each entry is £2.50 + a booking fee, and all funds go directly to supporting the animals at the Woodside Animal Centre.

🐾 Breed Meets

Join friendly, themed gatherings where dogs and owners can socialise with others just like them. Each dog will receive a free puppuccino and treat as part of these sessions. Options include:

• Tiny Tails Takeover — Small breeds
• Big Dog Energy — Large breeds
• Doodle & Poodle Party — Doodles and Poodles
• Working Dogs Hangout — Collies, Shepherds, etc.
• Sausage Squad Meet‑Up — Dachshunds
• Rescue & Mixed Breed Mixer — Inclusive, big crowd appeal
• Puppy Social Club — Dogs under 1 year
• Golden Hour Gathering — Golden Retrievers & Labradors

Our fun and friendly Dog Show is open to all, with classes designed for dogs of every size, age and personality. Each category will award a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize, so there are plenty of chances for your four‑legged superstar to shine.
