Develop and devise your own comedy project with Mark Ravenhill. This 6 week course includes a final showcase in the West-End venue Museum Of Comedy on the 26th February, 2027!
Through a series of structured improvisations and clowning exercises, each participant in the workshop will develop their own comic alter ego and generate new material to perform. Mark Ravenhill will give dramaturgical and directing notes to shape your comedy creation. A final scratch night will be a chance to try out your new character and find the laughs in a public performance.
This workshop is for actors who want to make and perform their own work. The emphasis is discovering on your feet rather than lengthy discussion.
