KICKSTART YOUR VOICE ACTING CAREER

Alex Curran and Shane O'Byrne team up to host a crash course in kickstarting your voice career! This full day workshop will aim to give you the ultimate tool kit for diving head first into the land of voice. You will practise voice acting techniques, whilst learning the business side of voice (voice agents and how to contact them etc). The day will be split into two rooms, one recording studio and the other a rehearsal space.

The workshop will conclude with Q&A and development chat where Alex and Shane will share an industry cheat sheet on how to break into the industry!

*We will record 2-3 contrasting pieces for your reel. Upon request you will receive a professional (industry standard) voice reel of your work from the day*

BIO

Alex Curran is a casting director at Liquid Violet, with more than a decade of experience in casting and producing across audio drama, podcasts, and video games.

Prior to joining Liquid Violet, she was Casting Manager at BBC Studios, where she cast their slate of radio dramas and podcasts, including History’s Toughest Heroes with Ray Winstone, and award winning radio drama series such as Faith, Hope and Glory.

Alex began her career at SIDE before moving to Audible, where she cast and produced a range of audio dramas, including Peppa Pigs play-a-long podcast, The ABC Murders with Peter Dinklage.
