WORKSHOP FORMAT

Get the chance to practice your audition skills, in person with Casting Director Jacob Sparrow. You’ll be looking specifically at contemporary text. Honest feedback and notes will be given prior to a second read. Everyone will participate and observe and there will be a chance for a Q&A at the end.

BIO

Jacob Sparrow was an in-house Casting Director for the National Theatre from 2015 to 2019, and in 2024 was Interim Head of Casting for Sydney Theatre Company. He works across many theatres and productions with subsidised and commercial producers, including National Theatre Productions, Alexander Zeldin Company, Michael Grandage Company, Nimax, Sonia Friedman Productions, Chichester Festival Theatre, Headlong, Young Vic, Sheffield Crucible, Open Air Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East.
