WORKSHOP FORMAT

This full day workshop will focus on screen acting techniques, to give the actor a feel for what it's like to work on set with Metin Huseyin. Discover how to make the most of the material. How to make the most of the subtext in a scene! Discuss blocking a scene and working with the camera’s choreography. We will explore all the above through practical exercises, discussion and acting from scripts.

Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

BIO

Metin Hüseyin is an award-winning director with an impressive career spanning some of television’s biggest and most acclaimed productions.

His credits include seasons 1,2 & 8 of the historical drama Outlander, as well as Knightfall and The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling; sci-fi and comic-book favourites Krypton and Agent Carter (Marvel); and sketch comedy with Alexei Sayle and Harry Enfield.

Along the way, Metin has received multiple BAFTA nominations, an RTS Award and a Rose of Montreux, alongside numerous nominations.

Born and raised in Hackney, London, Metin studied Animation and Directing at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) before going on to direct across an extraordinary range of genres. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a director with such an extensive body of work across television and one who has most recently been behind the camera on Outlander.
