WORKSHOP FORMAT

Get the chance to practice your musical theatre audition skills, in person with Casting Director Natalie Gallacher, in a musical theatre-focused workshop. Honest feedback and notes will be given. Everyone will participate and observe and there will be a chance for a Q&A at the end. All our Musical Theatre workshops are accompanied by a highly skilled Pianist / Musical Director.

BIO

Natalie Gallacher CDG is an award-winning Casting Director and partner at Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting, one of the UK's leading casting offices for musical theatre. Natalie has worked alongside Pippa Ailion for over 20 years, following her graduation from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

Together with Associates Richard Johnston and Grace McInerny, the team has cast hundreds of productions across the West End, UK and international tours, as well as for leading theatres including The Old Vic, Almeida Theatre, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, The Young Vic, Birmingham Rep and many more.

Current productions include MJ: The Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, The Lion King, The Book of Mormonand TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, alongside UK tours of The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen and Coming to England.

Their extensive casting credits include Billy Elliot, Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Dreamgirls, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Come From Away, Funny Girl, Legally Blonde, Bend It Like Beckham, Motown, Memphis, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, Ain't Too Proud, Spring Awakening, We Will Rock You and Fela!, among many others.

Natalie has also cast acclaimed productions for Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, The Almeida and The Young Vic, as well as providing film dance casting for Rocketman, Wonka and Disney's Snow White.

Upcoming productions include Hercules (West End), Moulin Rouge! (World Tour), TINA: The Tina Turner Musical(UK Tour) and Top Hat (Chichester Festival Theatre).

The casting office has received widespread industry recognition, winning the Casting Directors' Guild Award for Come From Away (2020) and the WhatsOnStage Award for Spring Awakening (2023). In 2023, Pippa Ailion was also honoured with a Special Recognition Olivier Award for her outstanding contribution to casting.
