WORKSHOP FORMAT
15, 19, 26 AUGUST & 9 SEPTEMBER | 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
This 4 week course covers the nuts and bolts of screen-acting auditions. Each week Lainey will send you a different genre scene to prepare testing your versatility as an actor. Sides will be sent out for you to prepare 4/5 days prior to the session. Below is week by week breakdown of how the course will play out...!

BIO
Lainey Lipson is a freelance Casting Associate. She has worked across a variety of projects over the years, ranging from studio and independent feature films, to streaming and network TV series and pilots, international talent searches, commercials, and more. Prior to casting, she trained and worked as an actress in Los Angeles, and simultaneously assisted (ad hoc) in casting offices. Lainey then ventured to England, where she earned her BA Honours degree in Film Production with a specialization in Directing, during which she cast and directed several short films that were selected for film festivals worldwide. Upon her return to LA, Lainey assisted full-time in various casting offices, including multi-Emmy-award-winners Junie Lowry-Johnson and Libby Goldstein. Since relocating back to the UK in 2020, she has worked with casting directors including: Gail Stevens and Rebecca Farhall; Rose Wicksteed and Sophie Kingston-Smith; Nancy Bishop; Gemma Sykes; Lucinda Syson; and Kirsty Kinnear. Notable projects include: 28 Years Later (Sony Pictures/DNA Films); Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (Amazon/Paramount); Black Cake (Hulu); The Nun 2 (New Line/Warner Bros); For All Mankind (Apple TV+/Sony); Yellowjackets (Showtime); Invasion (Apple TV+); and Them (Amazon/Sony).
