CASTING ASSOCIATE / DIRECTOR FRAN CATTANEO | CASTING WORKSHOP

WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel,  Fran Cattaneo will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Fran would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Fran under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Fran will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

**Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!**

BIO

Fran is a London-based Casting Director, who has previously assisted in the offices of Lucinda Syson, Dan Hubbard and Heather Basten for screen, and the National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse and Stuart Burt for stage.

She recently worked as an Associate with Charlotte Sutton, as well as Jim Carnahan, and is currently at Rory Okey Casting working on an undisclosed series for Amazon/Paramount Plus.

She has established a ‘Short Film Division’ within her office which aims to make professional casting a reality for short films.
