CASTING DIRECTOR CLAUDIA BLUNT | TV / FILM CASTING WORKSHOP

WORKSHOP FORMAT

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Claudia under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Claudia will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Claudia will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Claudia would like participants to be as familiar with text as possible.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

BIO

Claudia Blunt Casting launched in 2020. Her work is currently focussed on independent and studio feature films and previous credits include Julia Jackman’s debut ‘Bonus Track’, which was selected as part of Cannes Great8, premiered at the London Film Festival, and saw her long-listed for the BIFA for Best Casting. Upcoming features include indy horror ‘Sticks & Stones’, and ‘Bad Major!’.She has played a key role in casting multiple screen projects for clients including: A24, HBO, Fox Searchlight, Sky Atlantic, Amazon, Canal+, Netflix, Paramount, Starz, Sony Pictures Television, BBC and Disney+. Claudia served for three years on the board of Casting Society’s (CSA) Global Chapter, is a proud member of both the Casting Director's Guild of Great Britain and Ireland (CDG) and BECTU.
