WORKSHOP FORMAT

Get the chance to practice your performance skills with Casting Associate Ella Donaldson, in a drama-focused workshop. Honest feedback and notes will be given on the day, giving all participants multiple chances to workshop the material / prep given. This is a highly practical workshop focusing on scene study and performance. Everyone will participate and observe. There will be a short tea break followed by a Q&A at the end of the session.

BIO

Casting Freelancer, specialising in casting for theatre. Ella is currently Theatre Casting Associate for Heather Basten CDG, as well as working across her TV/Film department.

She has extensive experience working in theatre, having started her casting journey at Shakespeare's Globe. Working under the Head of Casting, Becky Paris CDG, and assisted on 20 productions for The Globe Theatre & Sam Wanamaker Playhouse from 2022 - 2024. Ella has also worked for Amy Ball CDG, Lara Manwaring CDG and Matilda James CDG.

Recent projects include; The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind (RSC/Soho Place), One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Old Vic), An Ideal Husband (Lyric Theatre Hammersmith), Romans, A Novel (Almeida Theatre),The Hunger Games On Stage (Troubadour Theatre Canary Wharf) 1536 (Almeida Theatre).
