WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Gabriela Wolfman will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Gabriela would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Gabriela under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Gabriela will give each participant notes, allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

BIO

Gabriela Wolfman is a London-based casting professional currently working with acclaimed Casting Director Dixie Chassay.

Gabbi has worked across a brilliant slate of high-end film and television, with casting credits including HBO/BBC’s Industry Series 3, Apple TV+’s Criminal Record, Disney+’s Shardlake, BAFTA-winning BBC drama The Sixth Commandment and feature film Bring Them Down, starring Christopher Abbott and Barry Keoghan.

Before moving into casting, Gabbi spent four years at SISTER, working across productions including This Is Going to Hurt, The Power and The Baby. She has since worked across a number of leading UK casting offices, including Harkin & Toth and Lucinda Syson Casting, before joining Dixie Chassay.
