This three-week course covers the nuts and bolts of screen-acting auditions, from online Zoom auditions and self-tapes to live reads. Below is week by week breakdown of how the course will play out...!

WEEK ONE: SELF TAPES

- You will prepare a scene of your choice for your first week. You will then be asked to submit a self-tape of this scene before the workshop.

WEEK TWO: LIVE READINGS

- Briana will assign scenes for this live reads workshop. This will be a live audition technique workshop where you will read live with a reader.

WEEK THREE: CHEMISTRY READS

- Chemistry reads workshop. This will be a live audition technique workshop where you will read live with a reader in pre-assigned pairs.

Meghan Rafferty is a casting director, working actor and acting coach whose film and television credits include: 109 BILLION FOLLOWERS (premiering this
October 2026 at the Austin Film Festival- starring J.K. Simmons), THE BETTER SISTER, THE LEFTOVERS, LEZ BOMB, THE WOLF of WALL STREET, MODERN LOVE, THE IRISHMAN, THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO & I LOVED YOU, BUT I LIED to name a few.

Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with acclaimed directors and producers such as Martin Scorsese, Damon Lindelof, Jim Jarmusch Aaron Sorkin and Woody Allen. Meghan teaches on-camera workshops across the country and offers private coaching for actors of all levels. Her classes are uniquely informed by her experience on both sides of the camera, blending the insight of a casting director with the real-world perspective of a working actor. She speaks to actors in a way that is practical, relatable, and constructive, giving actors the tools, confidence and industry knowledge to elevate their auditions and performances.
