4, 11 & 18 NOVEMBER | 3 WEEKS | 3 ONLINE SESSIONS

One booking includes all three sessions.

This three-week intensive with Emmy-nominated Casting Director Stephen Vincent focuses specifically on self-tape technique for US television, progressing from co-star auditions to guest-star material before finishing with an individual review of your own previous audition work.

Each week gives you the opportunity to submit work, receive direct feedback and apply Stephen’s coaching to your self-tape technique.

WEEK ONE: READINGS 7 OCTOBER

- You will prepare a scene of your choice from a selection of sides given by the casting director for your first week. (Question: will they have a reader for week 1). You’ll be given specific feedback and adjustments on your scene work. This get a sense of what material you gravitate towards, how you'd ‘cast' yourself and also give the casting director a sense of things to work on.

WEEK TWO: LIVE READINGS 14 OCTOBER

- After watching your work during Week 1, Stephen will assign specific scenes, appropriate to your type, that you would you be asked to audition for... This will be a live audition technique workshop where you will read live with a reader and also receive adjustments.

WEEK THREE: SELF-TAPES 21 OCTOBER

- You will prepare a self-tape with a new scenes prior to the workshop date. Casting Director will give notes about the tape and performance. You will incorporate the notes in a live audition that you will perform one time during the workshop as you would a callback scenario

Stephen Vincent and his partner Sig De Miguel recently cast FATHER JOE starring Al Pacino and Kiefer Sutherland, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and NOT DEAD YET starring Richard Kind which is premiering at the Hamptons Film Festival. They recently cast HYSTORIA starring Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, EXIT TO THE GUILLOTINE for SxSW Nominated Director Zachary Cotler starring Peyton List (COBRA KAI) and Gustaf Skarsgard (OPPENHEIMER), ROOSTER starring Emmy Award Winner Tom Pelphrey, EUGENE THE MARINE starring Emmy Nominee Scott Glenn and SERENA starring Andi Maitchak (HALLOWEEN trilogy), among other films. Sig & Steve have cast everything from studio films (CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, ABOUT MY FATHER) to Sundance & SxSW Award-winning films (I CARRY YOU WITH ME, NOVITIATE, MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLAND, THE INVITATION, RABBIT HOLE). They are currently casting 7 feature films.
