Shropshire Historic 50K 2027

We delighted to announce that the Shropshire Historic 50k will be returning in 2027 - 

This stunning route starts inTelford Town Park and takes in some of Shropshire most iconic historical sites on a beautiful run to Shrewsbury. 

Historical sites include: The Silkin Way, Ironbridge, Buildwas Abbey, The birthplace of the modern Olympics, Much Wenlock Abbey, Wroxeter Roman City, Attingham Park, Shrewsbury Prison and Shrewsbury Castle.

Complete the series

Complete Historic Shropshire 50K,  the Church Stretton 50K (Shrewsbury to Church Stretton) and the Shrewsbury 50K (Church Stretton to Shrewsbury) and receive a special series medal. 

Course adjustments

For 2027 we will be making a few route adjustments to remove some of the tough trail sections.
