Run Your Own Way - Halloween

Race Your Own Way - Halloween

The race where nobody follows the same route…

As dusk falls on the first day of Halloween Week, prepare yourself for a running experience unlike any other.

Choose your challenge: 5K or 10K.

The concept is simple. Line up on the start line, wait for the starting gun… then scatter in whatever direction you choose.

No marked course. No arrows. No following the crowd.

Just you, your instincts, and a maze of possibilities within the eerie surroundings of the Quarry Park at dusk.

The Rules

• Stay within the boundaries of Quarry Park at all times.
• Complete either your 5K or 10K distance.
• Finish back at the designated finish line.
• Carry your own GPS tracking device (Garmin, Strava, Apple Watch, Coros, etc.) to record your route and distance.

Expect the Unexpected

As darkness gathers and runners disappear into the shadows, you'll constantly be making decisions:

Where shall I go next?

Is that runner ahead of me or behind me?

Am I too far from the finish line?

Have I just discovered the perfect route... or a dead end?

And was that figure among the trees another runner… or something far more ghostly?

With everyone taking a different path, every race becomes a unique adventure. Strategy, navigation, pacing and a little courage will all be put to the test.

Fancy Dress Encouraged

Why not embrace the Halloween spirit and run in fancy dress?

Whether you're a witch, zombie, skeleton, vampire, ghost, or something even more terrifying, we'd love to see your most creative costumes - with a prize for the best dressed.

Your Reward

Every finisher will receive an exclusive Halloween Medal.
