Welcome to the Shropshire Backyard Ultra 2027, the ultimate challenge of endurance, determination and mental strength.Whether you're aiming to become the Last Person Standing or taking on the challenge as part of a team, this event promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of Shropshire .

ENTRY OPTIONS -

TRADITIONAL BACKYARD ULTRA - Last Person Standing -

Runners complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour, on the hour, until only one competitor remains.Individual Race - Competitors start at 9am Saturday morning and take on the 4.167 mile loop every hour on the hour. Fail to make it to the start line on the hour and you are Eliminated.

Team Backyard Ultra Option (Pairs or 4’s) -

All team members take on the individual challenge and score a point for every loop completed by a team member. If a team member fails to complete the loop in time they are eliminated.

TEAM 24 HOUR BACKYARD RELAY
(Pairs, 3’s and 4’s):Work as a team to complete 100 miles in 24 hours. If the member of the team completing the lap does not make it back in time then the team is eliminated. Please note our team relay is capped at 24 hours.

Finisher Rewards

• All competitors receive a commemorative event medal
• 100 Mile Club Medal awarded to every runner who reaches the incredible milestone of 100 miles individually.
• only one will be crown the ultimate champion.

Camping and gazebos:- 

- Gazebos/event shelters will be permitted to be set up in the resting enclosure free of charge.
- Overnight camping will be available on both the Friday and Saturdays night and can be booked via the West Mid Show Ground
