Welcome to the Sea Angling Classic: Let’s Meet & Fish Days!

This year, the Sea Angling Classic and Let’s Meet & Fish events will double as fundraising initiatives for FreeSpirit of the Sea CIC, a newly established not-for-profit charity. This initiative is dedicated to providing on-water experiences for cancer patients, disadvantaged children and families, and individuals facing mental health challenges.

To bring this vision to life, FreeSpirit of the Sea CIC is commissioning a custom-built boat featuring therapy areas designed by medical specialists. Additionally, the vessel will serve as a floating classroom, offering hands-on learning experiences with state-of-the-art educational facilities. Click here to see more. 

By participating in these prestigious events, anglers will help raise crucial funds to support this transformative initiative. Together, we can make a real difference!

Let’s Meet & Fish Charity Fundraisers

Join us for four incredible Let’s Meet & Fish events, each hosted at a premier marina and supporting FreeSpirit of the Sea:

Entry Fees: £15 for adults | £10 for children under 16 - 100% goes towards FreeSpirit CIC.

Format: Prizes awarded for the longest of each of the five target species.

Optional Cash Prize Pools: Payable on the day, with proceeds benefiting FreeSpirit.

The excitement doesn’t end on the water! After fishing, we’ll gather for a lively social event to celebrate the day’s achievements. Special prizes will be awarded for the longest catches of each selected species and the most rubbish collected from the sea during the event.

Let’s make memories, enjoy the great outdoors, and contribute to a cleaner, healthier ocean together!
