Sacred Archery Beginners Courses

Most people pick up a bow and start shooting. Very few are taught how to truly train.

At Sacred Archery, we believe real archery should be learned with structure, discipline, and understanding. This beginners course is designed for complete beginners who want proper foundations in traditional thumb draw archery, not random repetition without direction.

This course is the beginning of a longer journey. Students who pass can continue training through our Saturday Open Sessions, where ongoing drills, learning points, and structured development help them keep building week by week.

Progression at Sacred Archery is built through regular practice, coach feedback, and observed growth over time. Students do not simply jump through one-off levels. They grow into the next stage when they are ready.

What you will learn

• The foundations of real marksmanship
• Basic Aiming and Release
• The thumb draw technique
• Correct stance, posture, and alignment
• Safety and range discipline
• Understanding the bow and thumbring

Dates: Intake 1: Sat 4th, 11th, and 18th April 2026 - 2-4PM*
Course Fee: £60 per person

* Additional intake dates are available for the following months of May and June - they will as well be 3 consecuive Saturday sessions 2-4pm. We will add additional dates across the year on a monthly basis (Dates for Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec 2026 NOW CONFIRMED).
