Free Summer Solstice Community Drum Circle

Sacred Stones is honoured to offer a beautiful community drum circle experience while we celebrate and welcome in the summer solstice.
Our drum circles are free with the option of a donation because:

1. We feel the gift of drumming in a circle for healing and empowerment should be open to all and with no barriers.

2. To bring the community together for valuable connections and unity.

3. To relearn the power of connecting with mother earth and her sacred heartbeat.

4. To celebrate the birth of our yurt and all the wonderful offerings we intend to hold under her roof.

It is important to know that shamanic drum circles do not have to be loud, in fact a great deal of power and healing can come from the drum when played within the unity of the circle, and at a gentle pace. You do not have to be a musician and anyone is welcome as long as they come with good intentions, a soft heart and an open mind.

Participants are welcome to bring snacks to share with others if desired, but please ensure the ingredients are clearly marked for those with allergies and intolerances, (hot drinks offered free of charge.
This is a free event but donations are welcomed.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
In our Sacred Stones drum circles you can expect to go on a journey of healing, empowerment and transformation, meet and connect with your spirit allies and guides, learn sacred medicine songs, experience the powerful energy within the drum circle, receive a guided meditation for healing and growth, and enjoy refreshments and valuable connections with likeminded people in your area.

WHAT TO BRING:
Drum if you have one, (drums are also provided)
Come with an open mind and heart
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a cushion and blanket
You are welcome to bring an item for the alter

WHERE IS IT HELD?
This circle will take place in our beautiful Mongolian yurt within the grounds of Sacred Stones in Bexhill old town.

The end part of Church Street where we are based is not picked up by Sat Nav or Google maps as it is not registered with the council, so it is ‘unadopted’.
However, it is very easy to find with these directions below or by using the what 3 words navigation finder.

TRAIN:
If you are getting the train its a 10 minute walk, (up hill) to the old town. (If you are a slow walker please leave more time).
Turn left out of Bexhill station and walk-up Sea Road, (which goes into Upper Sea Road) until you reach the top.
It will be obvious when you’re in the old town as the architecture changes.
The beginning of Church Street has a little convenience store and the Old town café
Head past these stores and towards St Peters church which will be on your right.
Keep walking around the bend until you come to St Peters stables.
Turn left there and we are the last property in front of the two dead end signs.
You will see our little shepherds hut in the front garden.
The yurt is around the back so head around the side gate.

CAR/PARKING:
There is no parking at Sacred Stones so you will need to either find a free space on Church Street or park at the Manor barn and gardens car park on the De La Warr Road which is only a 2 minute walk away.
The fee is £1 an hour.
