About the Flyer Art: The Copey (Clusia rosea Jacq.) is a beloved plant native to Kiskea -Ayti, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Florida, and the Bahamas. The Taino ancestors used the latex produced by the fruit to make the ball for their traditional Batey game and to treat burns and dislocated bones. You can also consider Copey for a natural air purifier. Keeping it hydrated will filter pollutants and regulate humidity in your surroundings. 

I would like to invite you to join us in the sacred embrace of the Peoples' Circle for our Taino New Moon Ceremony. This is a space that is open to everyone.

In this sacred gathering, we will continue our eclectic ceremony as we embark on a journey of spiritual exploration and decolonization, guided by the gentle wisdom of the moon. In this healing and support circle, we will dive deeper into our Taino spirituality by honoring our cemi, connecting with our ancestral spirits, and soaking in the energy of the moon and her medicine. 

The medicine of this New Moon is "This cosmic event starts a transformative journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Let's seize this opportunity to expand our understanding and broaden our perspective on our own lives."

Please be on time, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5:10pm/8:10pm. The zoom conferencing details will be provided via confirmation email once you've registered, and once again to your email ONE HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT.

For your convenience, this virtual ceremony will be recorded, and a link to the recording will be sent to all registered participants. This allows you to revisit the experience at your leisure, whether you are unable to attend the live event, have a change in plans, or simply wish to dive deeper into the journey for further insights. The link will be distributed within 24 hours after the ceremony concludes and will remain accessible for a duration of 72 hours.
