The Officers and Members of the Saint Andrew’s Society of San Francisco warmly invite you to join us at the historic Green Street clubhouse for the 2026 Installation of Officers and our ceremonial “Changing of the Guard.” This year’s gathering carries special significance, marking the conclusion of Alex J. Sinclair’s presidency and celebrating the ascent of Sophia Zimmermann as the 88th President of the Society.
For more than a century and a half, the Saint Andrew’s Society has upheld a mission of charitable service, cultural preservation, and fellowship within the Scottish-American community. This installation continues that tradition, bringing together members, friends, consular partners, and supporters for an evening that reflects the warmth and spirit of our Society.
Doors open at seven o’clock, and guests will be welcomed into a convivial reception with light refreshments and the familiar sounds of Scottish music resonating throughout our treasured clubhouse. The installation ceremony will follow a shortened business meeting, during which our newly elected and returning officers and trustees take their oaths to uphold the Society’s values and guide its work in the year ahead. The symbolic passing of leadership from President Sinclair to President-Elect Zimmermann will highlight the evening, honoring years of service while looking confidently toward the future.
This is not a formal occasion but rather a celebration, relaxed and sociable, rooted in the distinctive charm of Scottish hospitality. Members are encouraged to dress in Highland evening wear, cocktail attire, or festive business attire appropriate to the occasion.
Attendance is complimentary for members. To reserve your place or request additional information, please contact:
