Join artist Angela Tait for this exclusive workshop!

Angela’s piece “For Eileen,” which is now on display in our latest exhibition The Omnipotence of Dream, features clay shabtis inspired by Egyptian funerary sculptures.

For this session she will share the materials and techniques behind this piece so that participants can create their own shabtis to take home. All materials will be provided, along with step-by-step instructions. All skill levels are welcome!

Please note that the pieces created on the day will need to be left with Angela so they can be fired in a kiln. When they are ready, staff will contact attendees with instructions for collection from Salford Museum.
