Jazz in the garden

Salon Music is having a summer party on Sunday 13th August - and playing for us will be -

The lovely Sol Grimshaw and his gypsy jazz group

Sol and his group will be playing twice during the afternoon - at around 3pm and then again at around 5pm. Some Highgate locals may already have heard them at one of the Highgate Society's Sunday lunchtime concerts last year.

We will be welcoming guests in the garden (weather permitting) whenever they feel like joining us from 1.30pm through till 7.30 in the evening.

Bread, cheese, snacks, beer and wine (including GF/DF/vegan) will be on tap throughout.

We are inviting not just Salon Music guests but family, neighbours from Highgate and Belsize Park and FreeFrom Food Awards colleagues - so we hope that everyone will both see old friends and make new ones.

I am happy to say that this is a party rather than a paying event. I will be reimbursing the musicians for their labours - but - if you were up for making a small donation to swell their take home pot, they would really appreciate it. Details on how on the booking page.

Even though this is a free event please 'book' so that we have some idea of how many people will be coming.

AND.......

I have just noticed that at 7.30 on the evening of August 13th The Lord Chamberlain's Men will be presenting Romeo and Juliet in the gardens at Kenwood. Kenwood is less than 15 minutes walk from Hampstead Lane if you wanted to include this in your Sunday's activities.
