Acclaimed British feature Edge of Summer, returns to Cornwall this spring for a special regional cinema tour.

11-year-old Evie arrives in Cornwall expecting a girls' holiday with her mum. But when she meets local boy Adam, a mysterious discovery down an old tin mine changes everything. As they begin to question what is real and imagined in their lives above ground, childhood narratives unravel and a darker, more complex picture of the adult world takes shape.

Set on the Cornish coast in the summer of 1991, Edge of Summer is infused with memories of pre-digital summer holidays and the Cornish myth of The Knockers. Shot entirely on location across Cornwall, the film transforms the region’s coastline and historic tin mines into a powerful cinematic landscape rooted in folklore and emotional memory.
