Join us for a special screening of a cult classic Cornish surf film - part of our Rip It Up season, celebrating youth culture, rebellion, and self-expression in the South West.
As the end of his 20s nears, champion surfer J.C. (Sean Pertwee) finds himself torn between being and adult and commitment to his girlfriend, Chloe (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and enjoying his youth. When his friends show up unexpectedly to help him celebrate his birthday, it's apparent they're struggling through their own coming-of-age crises. Dean (Ewan McGregor) is a burnout drug dealer, Josh (Steven Mackintosh) is a music producer losing interest in his craft, and Terry (Peter Gunn) is worried about settling down with his own fiancée.
Director: Carl Prechezer
