2026 Saltmarsh Coast Walking Festival

Join us between the 22nd January - 25th January 2026 for the free Winter mini- walking festival.

We are delighted to announce that the Saltmarsh Coast Walking Festival will return this year. One of the "Observer" newspaper's top 10 walking festivals of the year, and BBC Countryfile's Top 7, this is a great opportunity for you to explore the beautiful countryside, coastal scenery, and historic towns of the Maldon District on foot. You can join a variety of guided walks led by local experts, or discover the area at your own pace with self-guided routes.
