2025 Saltmarsh Coast Walking Festival

Join us from 26 September to 5 October 2025 for the free walking festival highlighting 75 miles of the Saltmarsh Coast.

We are delighted to announce that the Saltmarsh Coast Walking Festival will return this year. One of the "Observer" newspaper's top 10 walking festivals of the year, this is a great opportunity for you to explore the beautiful countryside, coastal scenery, and historic towns of the Maldon District on foot. You can join a variety of guided walks led by local experts, or discover the area at your own pace with self-guided routes.
