Description
Head across the River Crouch on a scenic ferry ride from Burnham, arriving at the RSPB Wallasea Island Nature Reserve. There, a guide from the RSPB will take walkers on an approximately 5 mile walk around the nature reserve - a magical landscape of marshland, lagoons, ditches and sea.
Walk Highlight: The amazing variety of birdlife to see whilst on the island.
The return ferry crossing is included free of charge. (Pre-bookable picnics are available from Peaberries and Ground Coffee House in the High Street, Bunrham-on-Crouch - not included in festival).
N.B The ferry crossing pick up point is yet to be confirmed due to changing ferry terminal/wharves. Those booking will be sent details of ferry pick up point.

Parking - Pay and display, at the Marina car park, or there are free parking spaces within Burnham-on-Crouch town, Riverside Park.
Please note the ferry may be changing pick-up location from the Marina to the town pontoon on the Quay before the Festival. More details will follow after replacement of Burnham-on-Crouch Pontoon.
