All Saints Church, Church Walk, Maldon, CM9 4PY
Description
This special 6.5 mile walk from the Maldon & Dengie Ramblers has a bit of everything; several stretches of the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, including the historic Langford Cut, open farmland and new housing developments, the village of Langford (with its Museum of Power) and Beeleigh Falls. You will also get to see the Beeleigh Steam Mill and Beeleigh Abbey, (founded in the 12th century by the Norbertine monastic order) before heading back into Maldon.
Walk Highlight: The beautiful Beeleigh Falls, Beeleigh Abbey and the walk alongside the Langford Cut, which predates the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation.
