Description
Walk with an Essex Wildlife Trust guide, who will point out the wide variety of flora and fauna in this riverside nature reserve, with delightful views across the river Crouch throughout.
Walk Highlight: With autumn upon us, there should be sightings of arrivals of migrating birds in the reserve, such as Northern Wheatear.
This is a leisurely walk of just over 3 miles.
Optional lunch afterwards at the Ferry Boat Inn (not included in the Festival)

Returning train at 14:30 from North Fambridge to Burnham-on-Crouch, then Bus 31 14:56 from Railway Hotel, arrives into Maldon at 15:40.
