Sadly our talk beforehand is sold out, However join us for screening of the film Dunkirk in  The Rio Cinema, which is one of the few remaining ‘village’ cinemas in Britain. It was established in 1931.   We are celebrating the role 'The vanguard' one of the little ships  that saved over 600 soldiers from Dunkirk during WW2.

Dunkirk is a 2017 epic historical war thriller film written, directed, and co-produced by Christopher Nolan that depicts the Dunkirk evacuation of World War II from the perspectives of the land, sea, and air.
