This linear walk leaves Maldon and heads through the Maldon Wick Nature Reserve before reaching the little-known Parsonage Wood. The springtime display of bluebells, wood anemones and lesser celandines is a sight to behold.
After a walk around the wood, we'll head west towards the village of Woodham Mortimer, where we'll stop for lunch (see food options below) at the lovely "Hurdlemakers Arms". We then walk to a nearby bus stop to get a bus back to Maldon.
