Big Skies and Birds at Tollesbury Wick
Tollesbury Wick Marshes is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI); this walk provides the perfect opportunity to explore the spectacular reserve, which is today managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust. There's plenty of interest along the route, with good views of the Blackwater Estuary and Mersea Island, as well as excellent opportunities for birdwatching. There's the option of a lunch stop near the end of the walk.
