Parsonage Wood: a Haven for Bluebells

This delightful linear walk from Maldon leads through peaceful countryside to the hidden beauty of Parsonage Wood. In spring, the woodland bursts into life with bluebells, wood anemones and celandines carpeting the forest floor. Continue to Woodham Mortimer for a welcoming lunch at the Hurdlemakers Arms before an easy return by bus.

The walk ends with a short stroll to a nearby bus stop for the return to Maldon—an easy, rewarding spring day out.

To help maximise availability for everyone wishing to take part in these walks, a £3 refundable booking fee per walk ticket applies. This fee is only retained for very late cancellations (within 24 hours of the walk start) or no-shows; otherwise, it will be refunded. Please note there is a non-refundable transaction processing fee of £0.75p per booking.

• For information on public transport visit www.travelessex.co.uk/ closest bus stops are Morrisons Wycke Hill. There is a short walk to the start point at West Maldon Community Centre car park - Sunbury Way, Maldon CM9 6YH. 
• Return Journey Bus 331 to Maldon (please ensure you bring card or cash for the bus journey. If travelling by car please park furthest away from the entrance to the community centre to allow those using the hall ability to park.
