Route Length Category - Short

Accessibility of route – The route includes steps leading down to the riverside path. No stiles. Footpaths could be muddy after wet weather, so stout footwear is required.

Start and finish – Maldon Library, Carmelite House, White Horse Lane, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5FW.

Parking – White Horse Lane Car Park is close to the library. The current Sunday charge is £2 for up to four hours. Payment can be made by card or through RingGo using location code 21805. Please check the current tariff before travelling and ensure you pay for sufficient time to cover the walk.

Toilets – Public toilets are available in White Horse Lane.

Public transport – Maldon High Street is served by several local bus routes. The nearest bus stop is All Saints Church, a short walk from Maldon Library. Please check suitable services and return times at TravelEssex before travelling.
