Easter wool craft and sheep workshop
Join our Easter craft and sheep workshop!
We are delighted to welcome back Barcombe Romneys on Tuesday 7th April for this lovely family friendly event. Come and meet the sheep and make some woolly crafts this Easter in the beautiful gardens of Saltmarsh Farmhouse, Cuckmere Haven.
Susanna Steer is a shepherdess in Sussex and will be bringing along her tame sheep from her flock “Barcombe Romneys” for you and your children to stroke and learn about. She will chat about shepherding, sheepdogs and wool before helping you make a woolly nest and decorate some wooden eggs to take home in an Easter basket. All the wool is washed, carded, chemical free and comes from Susanna’s sheep.
Included in the price will be hot chocolate and an Easter Saltmarsh treat for the children.
