Watercolour is a magic  potion…

Go with the flow and let it work its wonders! 

Starting with a stroll along the river, we’ll have a full day of play, painting, creativity and nature.

We’ll explore many non-traditional materials, and respond to the beauty of the riverside and salt marsh. 

If this mercurial medium has discouraged you in the past, please give it another chance. Today, you'll be given experimental methods and tricks of the trade, and you’ll be amazed by what you can create. 

And if you are new to watercolour, this is a great place to start a life-long love affair. 

Filled with fresh air and inspiration, we'll return to the studio to paint splashy and free. (This is NOT a realism class. Though there will be many techniques for realistic depictions of trees, etc, it's more about a looser and more personal creative expression of your response to this beautiful place.)

We’ll enjoy a simple lunch of tasty soup and hearty bread, (or bring your own if you prefer) with a cheeky glass of wine, and continue our painting through the afternoon. 

We'll finish with an appreciation of all our beautiful work and lots of ideas about how to proceed on your artistic journey.

All materials, lunch with wine, teas coffees and biscuits are included as well as a box of brilliant watercolours for you to keep, so you can continue your artistic journey. £90

The class size is SMALL, with a maximum of 7 painters, so you will get all the help you want, but please book early to avoid disappointment.
