Migration Morning at Dyke Marsh

Peak fall migration is moving through Dyke Marsh and we’re heading out for the morning shift!

Between 9:00 and 10:30 AM, migrating songbirds actively forage along the tree line while rising morning thermals begin lifting Bald Eagles and ospreys over the Potomac. Along the marsh edge, herons and egrets patrol the shallows as the day gets underway.

Join Salty Birds Wellness™ for a slow, beginner-friendly morning of mindful birding, gentle movement and the art of noticing. We’ll wander at an easy pace, tune into the landscape and see who’s passing through.

No birding experience required. This is a small-group, low-pressure outing for curious humans who want to spend a little more time outside.
