Samad Gardens Initiative LLC is a CT-based diversified herb farm and education enterprise operated by Sarah Rose Kareem, based in Bloomfield, CT. Samad grows herbs, fresh produce, cut flowers, and value added herbal teas and products which are sold at community at farmer's markets, through a statewide CSA, and to wholesale partners.
Samad offers ongoing education opportunities for new gardeners and farmers with a focus on serving the BIPOC community, and operates an incubator farm, apprenticeship program, and ongoing classes.
