Ireland's ancient stories emerge at Samhain
Join acclaimed Bardic storyteller and musician Aindrias de Staic and his band, The Latchikos, for a lively evening of music, storytelling and Irish folklore at Edward J Valentines, Longford, on Saturday 24 October.
Fresh from his hugely popular show By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Aindrias brings his unique blend of rapid-fire storytelling, infectious music and West of Ireland devilment to Longford for one unforgettable night.
Embracing ancient folklore, traditional storytelling and his own extraordinary life experiences, Aindrias weaves together tales of wandering musicians, lost villages, mythical creatures, misadventures and the strange and wonderful characters of Ireland.
A familiar face to audiences following his recent appearance on The Tommy Tiernan Show, Aindrias is no ordinary storyteller. His performances are energetic, funny, unpredictable and deeply rooted in the traditions of the West of Ireland — a modern take on the ancient art of the Bard.
Expect music, myth, laughter and a little bit of mischief as Aindrias de Staic and The Latchikos bring the spirit of Samhain to life.
